Meet Adam Williams

Adam’s Ethos

Our aim is to produce the most planet-friendly surf boards, with minimal impact on the environment & maximum benefit to the rider’s experience.

Adam’s History

I started making surfboards in 1982 - 1983. I began in the garden shed, once I had paid a visit to Roger Cooper to buy the materials I needed.

This led me on a path that has now been 43 years long . I went on to work alongside my father making Williams Longboards in Cardiff. I’ve also had extensive experience fitting out yachts & as a cabinet maker, where I gained insights into many different technical aspects of building products & working with different materials.

This has given me an amazing cross-over into being able to make unique surfboards made of wood in my Gower workshop. I am uniquely placed as one of the only board makers with the adaptability & experience to utilise the full range of construction materials available to us today.

Looking for a custom board? Contact us today to arrange a phone call or in-person consultation at our workshop.
